The joke goes, “Come on vacation, stay on probation, come back on violation!” But the truth is that New Mexico truly is enchanting, and if you’re here, then you’re probably as enchanted by it as I am. I am so lucky that I get to explore the most beautiful wilderness areas and ghost towns under endless blue skies, double rainbows, and lurid sunsets.

New Mexico hides many secrets in its cactus-dotted deserts, its hazy purple mountains, its crumbling adobe villages, and its rocky coniferous forests. One can never be too careful in this place, where a body can be concealed so easily. New Mexico draws many people in – and swallows some of them whole.
